These are literally ALL of my WIPS - basically, everything I've ever started. Seriously, most of these were probably started in early 2010. So I'll also give you pairing, current word count, maybe a little bit of background...and % chance that it will ever be completed. Ha :-)
Oh, and as you can see, my filenames actually are non-descriptive and ridiculous, mostly so my Recent Documents file won't give me away ;-)

Rum and a meme
Aug. 19th, 2010 10:42 pmFound a place in Philly to drink my all-time favorite rum - One Barrel Rum from Belize. You can't find it in any liquor stores, and it's DELICIOUS. But I discovered a bar not too far from us called, fittingly, Rum Bar, and a rum and coke with One Barrel costs...$4!!!! OMG. And it's still as delicious as I remembered it from 2+ years ago! So, needless to say, I will be going there every night from now on.
Just had to share that exciting news!
And now I'm finally giving in to the memeage, because I'm craving some LJ interaction - even though I won't be able to answer until tomorrow after work. I was supposed to go camping this weekend, but we decided not to because of the puppy, so I need to entertain myself (and yes, I will be working on some fic instead - next week is a BIG WEEK, people!)
Anyway - Ask me my Top Five Whatevers. Fannish or literary or otherwise. Any top fives. Doesn't matter what, really! Fandoms, ice cream flavours, cartoon moments, women/men in my fandoms, OTPs, ideal holiday destinations, goals for the future, celebrity crushes, books I wish would be made into movies, love songs. Yesterday was the last day of Beer Week in Philly, so Dan and I set off on a valiant quest. We were trying to go to a specific Beer Brunch, but there was no one there, so instead we decided to bike around South Philly in search of a different new bar that we'd heard of. We biked A LOT and sweated our asses off because it was so hot and humid, it felt like the freaking rainforest. When we finally found a decent looking bar, we went in, I asked for some napkins to wipe the sweat off my face, and the bartender asked me if I wanted a towel :-/
We ended up going to four different bars that had, like, gourmet menus AND gourmet / expensive / high ABV beers. omg, sooooo good. we ate and drank at each bar...Dan spent $18 on one 12 oz. bottle of beer (18% ABV), we got to try some new things from our favorite breweries, and got TRASHED. Also watched some World Cup and somehow ended up buying a pack of clove cigarettes and smoking a few of them (sooo good, but it makes me a total hypocrite since I basically made Dan quit smoking). Then we came home and passed out by 8:30 PM. No pictures, 'cause I had no idea what an epic adventure it would be, so I didn't bring a camera :-(
So that was yesterday. Today I realized that I need to post right before work every day so I can get some emails, because today i got none - i was also super busy, so it probably would have been a bad idea, but since when has that stopped me?
Anyway, the point of all this is that - I NEED A MEME! A good one. So here's the meme:

Apr. 23rd, 2010 08:51 pm- I've been writing Pinto drabbles/ficlets all week, OMG, soooooo fun, I can't wait to post them :-D
- I left work early yesterday because i felt all woozy. I called Dan to see if he could pick me up, but he was already walking around in Center City, so I ended up meeting up with him and getting Five Guys burgers for lunch and then going to suit shopping with him. OMG. SUIT SHOPPING IS HOT. He ended up getting black pants and a black vest and a hot purple stripey shirt...omg. I might post a pic later...
- The reason we were getting dressed up was to go to this event for an LGBT org where my uncles were being honored. It was on a top floor with great views of the city, lovely wine, delicious food (sushi bar!), and got to see some family there, which was nice. Needless to say, there were some seriously dapper looking guys there, and Dan held his own ;-)
- Work is getting busy, fic is getting neglected, but i'm squeezing in my LJ reading and commenting, ahhhhhh!!!

4. Is there anything Star Trek around the room in which you're currently sitting? What? STXI DVD, entire series of TNG on DVD
5. Vulcan ears are: A) cute, B) sexy, C) neither, D) both. Answer: DDDDDDDDDDD Spock's ears are love.

Is it just me, or is no one posting anything these days? And by these days, I mean in like the last day because I am needy like that.
