2.) I didn't get to do a Thanksgiving post...in fact I didn't really touch my computer for the last 4 days, and it was strangely refreshing! I caught up with lots of friends, which was so necessary, spent lots of time with family, got drunk with my brother and his girlfriend, cut down my very own Christmas tree for the first time(!!), made a gingerbread house, and watched the Eagles lose.

3.) I have a lot to be thankful for this year and I try to remind myself of that as much as I can. One of the things I am truly thankful for is YOU GUYS and the interactions that I have with everyone that I've met online. Fandom and my fandom/LJ friends are a really important outlet for me, regularly bring me joy, and add a real happiness to my life.

And after that - so many ideas and WIPs of Pinto and Star Trek fics that I am excited to get out of my brain and into yours. So let's all cross our fingers and hope that I don't get sucked into the Avengers fandom before I get a chance to write them all ;-)

I'm going to do it - as crazed/stressful as December was, the deadlines apparently helped me, and I think I wrote some good fic - and right now I'm totally stalled out (okay, not TOTALLY...FIC IS COMING, I SWEAR!) but I feel like some additional incentive can't hurt. Plus I find that I loooove writing for people and making people happy :-D So YAY! It would be awesome to know that other cool peeps are signing up tooooooooo :-D

Taking a little break from posting for the next week or two for cookie-baking, gift-wrapping, Christmas, and a week at a beach house in the Outer Banks with the fam to chillax and celebrate New Years. Planned activities include eating (cookies, mom's food, Sonic...), going in the hot tub, playing Celebrity, and maybe even reading a real book!

That said, I may be around commenting on fic or responding to comments, and I may try to check my f-list once or twice if I just can't stay away ;-)

In the meantime, remember back on November 15 when I said I would post six fics by the end of the year? Well, I did it! And OMG. Definitely ready for a break, let's put it that way!
