Also, weird request - I need some het or femmeslash recs (I know - totally weird, right?) ;-). I realized that I learned almost everything I know about writing slash from reading slash, and since I haven't read much fic or non-harlequin romance w/women, I have no idea what terms are commonly used. Like, do people actually write the word "panties" or is that considered ridiculous? Etc. Okay. That's all the Zach I've got, for now. I think I've procrastinated for long enough (by which I mean, like, a week) - now to write some fic!

I have a strange request - If you've ever made a word doc or .pdf of any fic that I've posted, can you let me know? It's for a good reason - I want a copy! See, I always make last minute changes right before I post...so I actually don't have any copies of my final-final fics on my harddrive, just on LJ. And I want to upload some of my fics to AO3, but I really don't have time to go back and copy-paste all of that stuff myself.

I KNOW someone out there has done this, because I found all these old uploads on sendspace.com that have been deleted. I don't care, and you don't have to tell me if it was you, but if anyone does have copies (or wants to make them!), please let me know and maybe you can email them to me :-D

Fic update:
Right now I'm working on revising the fic I wrote for

helpbrazil2011 and (finally) drafting a fic for Help Queensland. Both will be long and both are really making me stretch my brain. After that, I'll keep working on some of these fics, one of which will probably be a big bang. Then it will be Christmas. GAH! :-D

Just watched a bunch of these Sundance videos. Kind of feel like I got a crash course in the business of movie-making, even though I have no idea what they're talking about half the time.

But more importantly - can someone make me a .gif and/or icon of this video from like 2:44 when Zach leans forward and then takes a sip of Corona? CORONA, YAY!

Second thing: I need some new music and i've decided to get some through easy-to-download and relevant-to-my interests fanmixes. SO - REC ME YOUR FAVORITE FANMIXES!!!! Can be Pinto, Kirk/Spock, Kirk/McCoy, or any mixes that you guys have made or posted. I thought about writing up a whole big thing about my musical tastes but what it comes down to is - I LIKE EVERYTHING. Seriously. Or I should say, more accurately, not that I like everything, but that I am likely to find something I love in every genre. If I find one song that I want to listen to on both my walk to work and my walk from work, I will consider this exercise a success. And I don't want to limit myself. So - HIT ME!!
