Fandoms collide... kinda?

So, my husband wanted to watch The Soloist in bed, and then promptly fell asleep about 10 minutes into it, which was fine with me, because there is a crazy party post going on at ontd_startrek, which could easily occupy me for hours. So I came back out to the living room and wanted to put something on TV...I started scrolling through the guide, and I was thinking, I just want to find something decent to have on in the background...and lo and behold - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is on!! I've been seeing commercials that it was going to be on tonight for the past week, but then totally forgot, and not that it matters since I own the movie, but YAAAAAY!

I've had PotC on the mind for a while, but it's great to get a refresher of character, etc, not to mention that I now have a ridiculous grin on my face from seeing 2 seconds of Captain Johnny Depp :-D

Now to find which will hold my attention. Competing for the title are ontd_startrek, Pirates of the Caribbean, trying to read some of the numerous tabs of fic I have open (mostly from space_married), and writing/editing fic in the 4 Word docs I have open right now...

So far, PotC/Johnny is winning :-/
