GAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!


IDEK what was going on with the Angels in America ticket thing today. First of all, I took the morning off work to get tix. So I was on my computer starting at 9:00 and I kept refreshing the fucking Tickets link and nothing was happening. Thank god i was in Pinto Chat w/tikra who then told me the actual links...which i still don't even know how they linked from the theater's site, but whatever.

So then every single fucking thing was sold out and it was ridiculous. And I was on the phone and when the guy finally got on, they had nothing else besides what was on the site. I was like "can you just tell me what dates you have?" and he was like "no, you have to give me specific dates to check." So i started going through every single weekend date and finally he was like "let me just tell you" ha ha :-)

So here's the thing - I can only go on weekends because I can't take off work. BUT i live close to NYC so i could go up multiple weekends. The problem is there were like NOOOO tix to part 1 available before part 2, much less on the same freaking day.

ANYWAY - I GOT 3 TIX TO PART 1 ON OCTOBER 10 - it's an evening performance, so i still might miss some work or just have a really (really really) late night. I chose 3 tickets randomly, i probably should have just gotten like 10 but oh well. oh and i have no idea wheremy seats are because i didn't even care by that point. oh, and then i left the apt # of my billing address, but i got a confirmation so hopefully that means my credit card went through. anyway, THEN i decided, fuck it, i'll just see them out of order, and i had tix IN CHECKOUT for Part 2 on September 18....AND THEN THE WEBSITE CRASHED! AS I PREDICTED.

Then I was like "fuck this, I will fucking buy an $85 ticket and go see part 2 in January" and Dan was like "go for it." But THE WEBSITE IS STILL DOWN SO ARGH!!!!!!!


tl;dr - I AM AT LEAST GOING TO PART 1 ON OCTOBER 10. HOPEFULLY. I THINK.

IF ANYONE IS MAKING A TRIP TO NYC FOR THE SHOW AND IS SPENDING SOME TIME HERE OVER A WEEKEND, LET ME KNOW! BECAUSE EVEN IF I'M NOT SEEING THE SHOW THAT DAY, I COULD STILL TOTALLY COME UP TO NYC TO DRINK HANG OUT / MEET UP IF THERE ARE COOL PEOPLE COMING! OR YOU COULD COME TO PHILLY - IT'S ONLY 2 HOURS AWAY!!!

I can get greyhound tickets for $200 (round trip) but I'll be spending approx. 3 days on a bus and one day in NY.

I don't think a meetup will be happening this time. :(
