it's true. I enjoy the movie a lot more if I block out the whole vampire thing and make it a cutsie teenage love story instead. If you ignore the rape of vampire canon, then it's a good movie to watch on a dreary winter day.
i put up my full review (ha ha, not a review at all, more like semi-drunken ramblings). but yeah, what you said. that's a good way to look at it. but it discarding the whole vampire thing does make edward like 1000000000% more of a creeper.
lmao! Too true! The best FML I've ever seen: "I just got dumped for not being more like Edward." If teenage/pre-teen girls actually stepped back and looked at his behavior they'd be creeped out.
