1. I got married in July. Zoo on Wheels came to our wedding. They brought an armadillo, a blue-tongued skink, a prehensile tail porcupine, a corn snake, and a great horned owl. It was awesome.

2. Also, I had an impromptu father-daughter dance with my dad to Lady' Gaga's Just Dance.

3. I have a thing about wanting to see celebrities. One time I saw Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman and their kids on safari in Tanzania. Another time I saw John Oliver from The Daily Show in Union Square in NYC. Ummm...that's about it for my celebrity sightings. :-/

4. I hate ironing. Seriously hate it. I have a huge pile of clothes on an ironing board in my bedroom that has been there/growing since September. No exaggeration. If I'm really desperate, I will iron one shirt. Sometimes I'll get something dry cleaned just because it will get ironed too. I honestly consider just bringing everything to the dry cleaners and asking them to iron it all.

5. The third time I saw Star Trek was on our honeymoon in Guatemala. We went to a bar that had bootleg movies (everything in Guatemala is bootlegged) and asked them to play Star Trek on this big screen TV they had. When we went back to the bar the next day, we realized we/they had left the TV on with the Star Trek menu screen. When we turned it off, you could totally see "Star Trek" etched into the TV....

6. I've had a few obsessions in my life. In chronological order, they include: Beverly Hills 90210, musicals at my high school and the people who starred in them, Cabaret/Alan Cumming, Buffy/Angel, Pirates of the Caribbean/Johnny Depp, and Star Trek!! I'm sure I missed some in there, but those are the main ones...

7. When I'm really full, I have to chew gum. I heard once that it makes you hungrier to chew gum, so somehow I translated that into believing that it aids the digestion, so now it's totally a mental thing. I hate it when I ask someone if they have a piece of gum and they say "no, but i have a mint" - i'm like, "why would i want a mint? i don't want to eat more!"

Ha ha, thus ends my life story.
