The form is actually helpful to me because it's so constrained that I can't go crazy, so i have to make things really concise and be creative in choosing which words stay and which go. Torn was actually the first piece of fanfic that I ever wrote, I've written a bunch since then, interspersed with the sequels. At the same time, the relationship in the story is evolving so obviously the story will change. I have a number of additional installments planned. It will be interesting to see how the style (even within the structure) changes or stays the same over that time.
